Morning Light: 55 words

July 8, 2010

Morning light shifted through the white curtains, making patterns on the floor.

It fell on her arms too, soft and warm. She stretched sleepily, fingers scraping the dark wooden headboard.

A soft breeze blew in through the window, leaving a trail of goose bumps on her skin. She smiled lazily.

She was perfectly, contentedly lonely.
