Dizzy Dee’s Cake in a Cup!

July 29, 2010

Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there lived a young girl named B.

She loved trying out recipes (which had delicious pictures alongside).

But today she was really hungry and reeeeally lazy. She wanted to eat something sweet. She looked and looked, all over the internet, for an easy cake recipe (that didn’t give ingredients in grams). But to no avail… not one seemed good enough!

And then, wonder of wonders! She found the answer she’d been looking for!

It was…. Dizzy Dee’s

Chocolate Cake In 5 Minutes!

Ingredients:

4 Tablespoons cake flour
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil
1 Mug

She almost weeped for joy!

:D

Oh this cake was good! You can make your own minor changes (like, I added a teeny bit of cinnamon) and it’s quick and easy. Mix the dry, add the wet, all in the mug and pop it in the microwave (POP!) for 3-5 minutes. Voila! Your cake is ready.

Try it, it’s fun!

Same here, Swaram. I have been reading and re-reading most of the posts here, everyday.

Teju, you are full of energy and cheer. Good you chose to write, it has been a perfect medium to spread the liveliness you stand for! God bless your soul!!

Ditto!! I visit your blog almost every day now. The suddenness and unfairness of this all haunts me, even though I have never known you, and only know IHM through her words….

Wherever you are, Tj, I know you are making it radiant by your presence :-) I wish I had known you earlier….

    hiii pumpkin…

    i wrote this today — http://reverberationz.blogspot.com/2010/08/life-they-say-is-journey-towards.html

cos i was thinking of you n wanted to write something for you… its like putting count down all over again… but only in a different mood… looking at the calendar doesnt give me a good feel at all.. but when i read ur posts today the sentiment tht hit me resulted in the above title… n now i know for sure life is actually a journey towards perfection…
as you said – am trusting my instincts on this one :)

n when my dad wrote the following in his comment i could but only smile thinking of you – “…Even so people lose their lives, their goals, their peace and pleasures, in the face of often unmerited adversities, that would suggest play of random factors in secular sense, but nevertheless deemed the culmination of some subtle fulfillment (karmic account balancing, lending to perfection)!…”

Here’s to the perfect princess :)

    ::hugs::
