What if!

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 7; the seventh edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton.

“So. What if! That seems to be your favorite phrase huh?”

“Sir… i jus..”

“Do NOT answer back! Do not speak unless addressed to!”

“yessir..”

“What was that?”

“uh.. yessir.”

“What are you huh? A boy or a girl?”

Classroom titters. He preens, success.

“Boy or girl huh? Speaking so softly! Answer me!”

“uh.. boy sir..”

“You know any boy who talks so softly? Like a shy girl you seem! That and your ‘What if!'”

” sir, i ..”

“ShatUP! Insolent rascal! One more word, and you can take yourself and your ‘eeeemagination’ out of this classroom! This is an art class! You must learn some rules about art first! Do you try to say you are better than teacher?”

“i.. no i just..”

“Teacher is guru. Teacher is form of God on Earth. Do you disrespect God?”

“nosir..”

“Then who gives you right to disrespect teacher?! I teach this class, you will learn as i teach. Learn rules before you try to break them! ‘Sir what if we use this colour, sir’ Nonsense! You will do as the book says! Gottit?!”

“yessir..”

“Go back to your seat! If i see anyone talking, the whole class will be punished! Now draw from still life!”

Class is silent, save the scratching of pencil on paper.

.

Standing near the window, muttering to self, “Thinks he can try to teach the teacher how to draw, huh! ‘sir what if we use colours instead of white, sir see it is not pure white sir, the egg has colours’ takes me for a fool does he! Insolent rascal…”

:D yea i know! but i read somewhere, about a teacher trying to get her students to see all the colours, except white, in an egg. and depending on the colours and light that fall on the egg, it gets differnt shades and tones.. :)

      and yes… i did see 3 idiots recently! :P

LOL!Insolent rascol….:P . But I thought such kids are like the Ayn rand’s Fountain head hero…..

By the way, what if hens laid colored eggs??? Won’t that be a colorful world (and maybe, kids will fight for their favorite colors ;), another reason for sibling fights )
